Ages 5-16 This activity allows children to get in touch with their surroundings, by using their senses to appreciate the sounds, smells, textures and colours to be found in the Park. The activity is split into several pursuits, each focusing on a specific sense. By the end of this activity the aim is to help the group be more aware of their own senses. Hartsholme Country Park Ages 4 to 16. 12pm to 3pm, Tuesday 27th to Saturday 31st October 2015 Only for the brave, prepare to be scared out of your skin on our creepy Halloween Trail, which will lead you if you make it to a delicious and ghoulish treat! The Halloween Trail takes place in the park area of the site and the children are asked to find 12 items by reading the clues on the trail sheet and following instructions! Ages: 7+years Friday: 5.45pm-6.45pm Learn: catching techniques, including the components of fitness needed for dodgeball. Dodgeball is a game that will improve all young people’s co-ordination and balance along with helping them to maintain a high level of stamina. It works on helping to improve the young people’s fine and gross motor skills. If you can think of somewhere that you believe would make an ideal LCU Learning Destination, send them to us! All that they need to do, is complete one of our validation forms satisfactorily. Once an activity is validated we can pop it onto our website and we will give them a stamp to stamp children's passports and a Learning Destination sticker! We also have a bunch of lovely Student Volunteers from the University of Lincoln who can help to validated and run the activities!
