Each week the children will learn and practise different benchball skills and techniques before putting them into a game.

Glee Club
After School Club
1 hour per week (Wednesdays during term time)
- Learn dance, music and drama
- Develop an appreciation of different types of dance, music and drama
- Be able to work as part of a group (small and large)
- Be able to perform to an audience
Over the period of the sessions, children will listen to and perform different types of music as well as learn different types of dance. They will also practise different drama techniques.
As the weeks progress, they will practise and refine their work so that a finished performance can be produced at appropriate school events, such as concerts etc.

Choir
After School Club
7-11 Years Old
30 mins per week (Friday lunch times) Term 5 Only (Summer Term) 2015/2016 Academic Year
- Develop an appreciation of different types of music
- Practise different types of songs
- Work together to harmonise
- Be able to perform to an audience
Over the period of the sessions, the children will practise different singing techniques and listen to and learn different songs. As the weeks progress, they will practise and refine their work, so that a finished performance can be produced at appropriate school events, such as concerts etc.

Table Tennis
After School Club
1 hour per week (Mondays during Autumn Term Time):
14th, 21st September, 5th, 12th, 19th October - Years 3 & 4
2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th November - Years 5 & 6

- Be able to learn different table tennis skills
- Be able to play and score a table tennis match, both singles and doubles
Each week, children will learn and practise basic table tennis skills before learning how to use them in a game. They will also learn how to score a game.

Street Dance

- Learn street dance moves
- Develop an appreciation of street dance music and street dance movements
- Be able to work as part of a group (small and large)
- Be able to perform a street dance
Over the period of the sessions, the children will listen to street dance music and learn and practise specific street dance movements and begin to put them together in a sequence. As the weeks progress, they will practise and refine the sequence so that a finished performance can be produced at appropriate school events, e.g. concerts etc.

Summer Sports After School Club

7-11 year olds
1 hour per week - Summer Term
To learn the different skills and techniques of various 'summer sports' (rounders/cricket etc)
Each week the children will learn and practise different sporting skills and techniques before using them in small game situations.

7 - 11 Years Old
1 hour per week (Thursdays, during term time - Summer Term)
To develop knowledge of great artists, craft makers and designers.
To develop an appreciation of artistic skills.
To develop artistic skills in drawing, painting, sculpure and other art, craft and design techniques.
To be able to evaluate and analyse creative works using the language of art, craft and design.
Athletics

1 hour per week. Mondays Y3/4 Thursday Y5/6 Summer Term 2015 to 2016 Academic Year.
To learn the different skills and techniques of the various athletic sports.
Each week the children will learn and practise different athletic skills and techniques.
